🛡️ Kids Mode & Child Lock

A safer digital world for your kids

Hand over your phone without handing over the internet. Your child sees only the apps you allow — everything else stays locked behind your PIN.

Everything they need. Nothing they don't.

Kids Mode replaces the home screen with a space you control — then gets out of the way.

Allowed apps

A home screen built just for them

Pick the apps your child may open. Kids Mode becomes the launcher, so the grid they see is the whole device. Everything you didn't allow simply isn't there.

  • Tap an app to play — nothing else opens
  • Their name and a friendly greeting, not a lock screen
  • Leaving needs your PIN, every time

Daily limits

An allowance for screen time

Give the allowed apps a daily budget. When it runs out the shield appears and play stops — no argument, no negotiating with you about it.

  • One limit across every allowed app
  • Resets each day on its own
  • Change it any time from your dashboard

Learning first

Screen time they earn

Turn on Learning unlock and the fun apps stay locked until the day's learning goal is met. Reading first, games after — enforced by the phone rather than by you.

  • Choose the learning apps and websites that count
  • Set the daily goal in minutes
  • Allowed apps unlock the moment it's reached

Downtime

Bedtime that keeps itself

Set the hours when the phone should be off limits. During downtime nothing opens — not even the allowed apps.

  • Ready-made Bedtime and Homework windows
  • Or your own hours, on the days you choose
  • Runs every day without being switched on

Parental controls

The web, with the sharp edges off

Adult content filtering, no app installs, no endless short-video feeds, and your own list of blocked words — switched on once and left alone.

  • Blocks adult sites automatically in every browser
  • Stops Reels and Shorts inside allowed apps
  • Kids Mode itself can't be uninstalled

What your child sees

Two screens do the explaining, so you don’t have to be the one saying no.

Set up in about two minutes

Three steps, once. After that it runs on its own.

1

Choose the apps

Tick the apps your child is allowed to open. Everything else disappears from their view.

2

Set the rules

A daily limit, a bedtime window, a learning goal — whichever of them you actually want.

3

Switch to Kids Mode

Hand the phone over. Your PIN is the only way back out.

Parental controls, in plain switches

No dashboards to learn. Each one does exactly what it says.

🚫

Block adult content

Adult sites are filtered automatically, in every browser on the device.

🛍️

Disable the Play Store

No new apps appear behind your back, and no in-app purchases.

🔒

Uninstall protection

Apps can't be removed — including Kids Mode itself.

🎬

Block Reels & Shorts

Stops the endless short-video feeds inside apps you've allowed.

🔤

Block keywords

Add your own words. Searches and pages containing them won't open.

👋

More than one child

Give each child their own apps, limits and schedule, and switch between them.

Questions parents ask

Can my child get out of Kids Mode?

Not without your PIN. Kids Mode takes over as the home screen, so the home button returns to their grid rather than to the normal phone. Uninstall protection stops it being removed, and leaving the mode asks for the PIN every time.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There's no sign-up and no profile. Your settings stay on the device, and we don't collect data about your child.

Is it free?

Yes — the free plan covers 3 allowed apps, 3 allowed websites, a daily limit, one schedule, 3 blocked keywords and one child. Pro lifts every one of those limits.

What if I forget my PIN?

Set a recovery email in Settings and you can reset the PIN yourself. Without one, contact us below and we'll help you regain access.

Does it work on tablets?

Yes. Kids Mode runs on Android phones and tablets, which is where most families hand a device over in the first place.
